PCL taps Toronto district chief to lead Eastern Canadian Buildings and Civil Infrastructure unit

Toronto—PCL Construction has tapped veteran Todd Craigen to lead the company’s Eastern Canadian Buildings and Civil Infrastructure as the unit’s new president.
Formerly a senior vice-president and district manager for the Greater Toronto Area, Craigen will take over for recently-retired Jim Dougan. He’ll be in charge of the Canadian contractor’s Eastern division, which extends from Manitoba to Newfoundland.
“In his expanded role, I am confident that Todd will continue to influence a culture of innovation that supports our employees, clients, and partners, and drives our business as the most respected builder renowned for excellence, leadership, and unsurpassed value,” Dave Filipchuk, the company’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
Craigen, who has 25 years of experience in construction, will also join the company’s board as part of the new role. To fill his shoes in the GTA, the company said it has enlisted Bruce Sonnenberg as lead vice-president and district manager of PCL Toronto.
